some things you’ll need before starting include:
- access to your Virgin Media WIFI
- any search engine (for example microsoft edge or google chrome)
- A Virgin Media router that you can access
- make sure you are connected to your Virgin Media WIFI (this is important)
- type into your search engine ” 192.168.0.1 ” OR ” http://192.168.0.1 “
- after you have done this you will be brought to the log in page. if you are not connected to a Virgin Media WIFI or entered the link wrong you will see this error
- you will be asked to enter your password, the password you need to enter is NOT your WIFI password. the password you need can be found on the bottom of your WIFI router
- after entering the password you will be logged in, from there you can manage and configure your WIFI as you please, changing the name of your WIFI, changing your password or things that are a little more advanced.
if you want you could change some settings in your WIFI to make it more compatible with devices that only accept 2.4GHZ like a 3ds
