As more and more children are on online watching YouTube and texting their friends on discord and snapchat constantly, it is extremely important that they learn basic Online safety rules in order to be safe when using the internet, helping them avoid the risk of exposing any personal information as a whole.

If someone online you do not know urges you to talk about where you live, our real name, what school you go to and where you live. This is mainly because the person you are talking to might be extremely dangerous and could try to find you if they receive this information. Be sure to avoid talking to someone you don’t know online, instead, only talk to your friends and/ family members.

It is extremely important that you avoid these features if they are not age appropriate as they could be potentially traumatizing.
