Oldham Council run a scheme called Donate-IT here you can safely dispose of old phones and computers which will then be wiped of any data by Tameside Community Computers CIC before donating them to individuals in need.
They accept a wide range of devices, including:
- Laptops (Windows and Mac)
- Desktops (Windows and Mac)
- Tablets (Android and iOS)
- Smartphones (Android and iOS)
- Old mobile phones
- Game consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, etc.)
