3D Design and Digital Making
About this event
Are you aged 14–18 and interested in digital design, making or 3D printing?
Join Inclusive Bytes CIC for a practical introduction to 3D design and digital making. No previous design or 3D-modelling experience is required.
During this two-hour workshop, you will use accessible design software to create a simple 3D model. You will learn how digital objects are built using shapes, dimensions and basic design tools, as well as how completed models can be prepared for 3D printing.
The session will give you an opportunity to experiment with your ideas, develop your creativity and discover how 3D design is used across technology, engineering, manufacturing and the creative industries.

- Learn the basic principles of 3D design
- Use accessible software to create a simple 3D model
- Experiment with shapes, sizes and digital design tools
- Develop spatial awareness and creative problem-solving skills

Who is this session for?
This session is for young people aged 14–18 who live in or around Oldham and would like to explore 3D design and digital making in a supportive and inclusive environment.
No previous 3D-design experience is required.
