What is a Digital Champion

A Digital Champion is someone who helps others build digital skills and confidence. Digital Champions support people in learning how to use the internet, devices, and online services, particularly those who are digitally excluded due to lack of access, skills, or confidence.

Become a Digital Champion

To become a Digital Champion, you should:

  • Basic computer literacy, you will not be expected to solve technical problems.
  • Good communication skills
  • Be patient.
  • Be able to spare a couple of hours on a regular basis.

It is a bonus if you already volunteer/work with an existing community, our aim is to take digital inclusion to the community rather than expecting the people to come to us.
