Hoot Hubs
What is a HOOT Hub
A HOOT Hub is a physical location where members of the public can access digital support to improve their computer literacy and stay connected in the digital world.
Become a HOOT Hub
To become a HOOT Hub, your organisation must:
- Have its own digital champions or be willing to host external digital champions.
- Be registered with the National Databank or, if ineligible, collaborate with another HOOT Hub as a satellite site.
- Signpost members of the public to appropriate digital support and resources via the HOOT search engine.
The team at Inclusive Bytes CIC can assist with all of the above.
Each Hub should have a Digital Champion
To become a Digital Champion, you should:
- Basic computer literacy, you will not be expected to solve technical problems.
- Good communication skills
- Be patient.
The team at Inclusive Bytes CIC can assist with all of the above.
